Τhe Non-Profit Organization Through My Eyes born out of my own journey — from darkness into light — guided by the spark of inner strength and a deep desire to support those in need. My vision is simple yet powerful: to see the world through my own eyes and to help make it a better place for everyone.
BLACKENED
GOGGLES
CHALLENGE
The charitable event Blackened Goggles Challenge aims to spread a message of equality, acceptance, and inclusion. Participants, by wearing the special black goggles also used by Karolina Pelendritou in her competitions — which do not allow any light to pass through — get to experience, for a short while, what it’s like to be an athlete with a visual impairment.
The event is organized by the non-profit organization Through My Eyes, founded by three-time Paralympic Gold Medalist Karolina Pelendritou.
The most recent event took place on October 12, 2025, at the Limassol Olympic Swimming Pool, marking its third consecutive year.
